Group Life Insurance

Group life insurance is an important part of your overall benefits. It is designed to provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your dependants and loved ones will have the financial resources they need in the event of a tragedy.

A critical piece of this coverage is ensuring that your beneficiary information is current. You should review and update your beneficiaries when:

  • You experience a major life event such as a birth, change in marital status or death in the family.
  • You update your will or estate plan.
  • You receive a beneficiary verification notice.

Even if you haven’t experienced a life event or changed your will, it’s a good idea to review your beneficiary designations from time to time. That way, you can rest assured that your assets will be distributed according to your wishes.
