OTIP Bursary Program
Through the OTIP Bursary program, we offer a $1,500 bursary to 30 students each year who are enrolled in full-time or part-time post-secondary studies in a college, university, skilled trades, or technology program. We are also proud to offer the OTIP Bursary for Indigenous Students, created in partnership with Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures initiative. This new bursary will provide fourteen $1,500 awards annually to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students for the next two years.
OTIP Education Worker Awards
The OTIP Education Worker Awards seek to recognize and celebrate the important role that education workers play in our school communities and to student success. Each year, we recognize two education workers in the categories of (1) educational support, and (2) office professional, custodial and maintenance.
OTIP Kindness in School Award
The OTIP Kindness in School Award was created to honor the most admirable qualities Francophone educators bring to their work: their genuine compassion, love for others, and commitment to their school community.
OTIP Principal and Vice-Principal Awards
Sponsored by OTIP and administered by the Ontario Principals’ Council, the OTIP Principal and Vice-Principal Awards recognize outstanding leadership in Ontario schools. Awards are presented annually in two categories: (1) Principal and (2) Vice-Principal.
This award program is offered in English only.
OTIP Teaching Awards
Sponsored by OTIP and administered by the Ontario Teachers' Federation (OTF), the OTIP Teaching Awards recognize and celebrate teachers who make a difference - teachers who inspire and empower their students. Awards are given each year to outstanding teachers in the categories of (1) elementary, (2) secondary and (3) beginning teacher.
OTIP Charity Golf Classic
Each August, OTIP hosts a Charity Golf Classic. Proceeds from the tournament are directed to the OTIP Community Fund.
OTIP Community Grant
The OTIP Community Grant program supports initiatives across Ontario that improve access to services, strengthen community well-being, and respond to local needs. We fund programs that advance health and well-being, promote equity in education, and support communities in meaningful and measurable ways.
