Know a student who could use $1,500? The OTIP Bursary Program offers 30 bursaries of $1,500 each year.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the OTIP Bursary Program, you must meet the following criteria at the time of selection:
You or a relative must be insured through a plan or program offered by OTIP.
The student must be a full-time or part-time post-secondary (college, university, skilled trades, or technology) program for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Deadline: Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2025.

How are winners selected?
Winners are randomly drawn from all eligible entries received.
Winners are contacted by telephone and/or email and must submit proof of enrolment at a post-secondary institution full-time or part-time for the upcoming academic year. A math skill-testing question must also be answered.
If a winner is deemed ineligible, another will be selected until all 30 bursaries are awarded.
How many times can I apply?
Only one entry per student. A student can win the OTIP bursary only once.
Can I apply if studying abroad?
Yes, students attending post-secondary institutions outside Canada are eligible to apply.
Can I apply on behalf of my child or other relatives?
Yes, you can apply for any eligible student, but only one entry per student will be accepted.
What If I don’t know my plan/policy number?
Ensure you provide accurate information, including:

Open September 30, 2024, to June 1, 2025, to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are enrolled in a post-secondary program for the 2025 to 2026 academic year, and who are currently insured by OTIP, or have at least one (1) parent/guardian/trustee or custodian insured through an individual or group policy of an insurance plan or program offered by OTIP. 30 prizes available: $1,500 bursary each.
