Understanding your benefits coverage

You may be wondering about your benefits coverage.

It is time to review your benefits coverage and ensure you have the coverage you need.

Use My Benefits to manage your benefits coverage. Once you have logged in, you can: View all benefit selections in the My Benefits box.

Using the following four tabs, you can review your benefits coverage and costs, personal information, dependants (who is covered under your plan) and beneficiaries.

Tab	You can review:
Today's Coverage	Review your monthly premium cost. You can also review each benefit and the related cost, the level of coverage (Single/Family) and your life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
Personal Information	You will need to contact your school board/employer to change the following information: Full Name Date of Birth Address To update your preferred email, follow these steps: Updating your preferred email address
Dependants	The eligible family member(s) that is covered under your plan. If your family status has changed due to a life event, you may be eligible to enrol or change your benefits coverage. Follow these steps: My family status has changed. How do I add a dependant? How do I change my coverage? Covered elsewhere? If you and/or your family members are covered under another group benefits plan, be sure to indicate co-ordination of benefits for each family member.
Beneficiaries	Review and update your beneficiary designation for your life insurance policy. Here’s what you need to know about naming a beneficiary(ies).

How much coverage do I have?
To see what products and/or services are covered by your benefits plan, review your benefits booklet in My Library. Your benefits booklet includes benefit plan terms and coverage details and is updated on a regular basis to reflect any changes or updates to your plan.

If you have more than one family benefits plan, co-ordination of benefits can help you. When you link your plans together, you and your spouse/children (dependants) can get up to 100% of your money back for your health and dental costs.
